aged 78. son of David and Orie (Laforte). of 40 Zane Ave, Kinloch, Lower Burrell died in the afternoon. Injured in a fire in his home on Apr 4. Born in Castle Shannon, he was in this community since 1918. Employed at Alcoa for 40 years, he retired in 1966. He was a Protestant. Survivors: brother John of New Kensington, sisters, Mrs Elizabeth Zeiler of New Kensington, Mrs Minnie Korzon of Lower Burrell and Mrs Ida Mae Nold of Spring City. Service conducted by Rev Mark H Landfried pastor of the United Pres. Church, New Kensington.
